Flower Pattern 18 sts x 27 rows

Finish Size (Blanket Size)

27 ½ in x 31 ½ in (70 cm x 80 cm)

Abbreviation

cont = continue
k = knit
k1tbl = knit one through the back loop
m1l = make 1 knit st left
m1r = make 1 knit st right
m1pl = make 1 purl st left
m1pr = make 1 purl st right
p = purl
p1tbl = purl one through the back loop
rep = repeat
rs = right side
st(s) = stitch(es)
ws = wrong side

Stitch Explanation:

C4F = 4 stitches cable front
(Slip 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at front of work, knit next 2 sts from knitting needle, then knit 2 sts from cable needle)
C4B = 4 stitches cable back
(Slip next 2 sts onto cable needle and hold at back of work, knit next 2 sts from knitting needle, then knit 2 sts from cable needle)
mb = make bobble (knit or crochet)
Knit: Knit into the front of the stitch, then the back, then the front, then the back, and then the front one last time, and slide the old stitch off — 5 sts in 1. Turn your work so that the WS is facing you (the stitches are on the left hand needle). Purl the 5 sts. Turn the work around again and knit the 5 sts again. Turn the work and purl the 5 sts again. Knit 3 sts together, pass the 4th st over, and pass the 5th st over. Now there is only 1 st left.
Crochet(3 double crochet bobble st): Instert 4.5 mm crochet hook into the st, chain 3(this count as 1st double crochet), [yarn over and insert into st again, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops], rep [] once more, yarn over and pull through all 4 loops. Drop the loop off the crochet hook. Insert right hand knitting needle through the loop, and continue knitting.

Pattern Notes:

  • Difficulty Level: Intermediate
  • This blanket is worked buttom up and border added later. However this method require at least 3 circular knitting needle in same size. OR you could start with 1×1 ribbing (k1, p1) for 10 rows and ending with 1×1 ribbing for 10 rows. Then pick up st on the sides and work 1×1 ribbing for 10 rows on each side.
  • I’m using knotted edge (knit the first and last st in each row) as the edge stitch.

  1. Hello, There’s no doubt that your site could be having browser
    compatibility problems. Whenever I take a look at
    your blog in Safari, it looks fine however, when opening in IE, it’s got some overlapping issues.

    I simply wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other than that, wonderful blog!

  2. I don’t understand what you mean by “k1tbl*3” (and “p1tbl*3”). Does this mean I should “k1tbl” three times, i.e., (k1tbl) 3 times? Thanks!

  3. I used to be recommended this website via my cousin. I am no longer positive whether this submit is written by way
    of him as nobody else realize such detailed approximately my trouble.
    You are amazing! Thank you!
