4 mm (US 6) double pointed needles
4.5 mm (US 7) double pointed needles/circular needles (32” or 40”)
darning needle

Finish Size:

Chest Circumference: size 1/2: 22¾ inches; size 3/4: 24½ inches; size 5/6: 26½ inches; size 7/8: 28 inches; size 9/10: 29½ inches; size XS: 31½ inches; size S: 34 inches; size M: 35½ inches; size L: 40½ inches; size XL: 44½ inches; size 2XL: 47½ inches; size 3XL: 51½ inches; size 4XL: 55½ inches.

Gauge: (in 4″ x 4″/10cm x 10cm)

20 sts x 26 rows in stockinette st.

K = knit
K1fb = knit 1 in the front and back
K2tog = knit 2 together
M1L = make 1 left
M1R = make 1 right
P = purl
pm = place marker
rep =repeat
Rnd = round
RS = right side
s2kp = slip two stitches as if to k2tog, knit the next stitch, pass the two slipped stitches together over the knit stitch (centralized double decrease)
skp = slip, knit, pass slipped stitch over
sm = slip marker
St(s) = stitches
WS = wrong side
yf = yarn forward (basically equals to yo but following with a p st)
yo = yarn over

Pattern Notes:

  • Difficulty Level: Intermediate
  • Sizing in pattern will be listed as 1/2 (3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10) {XS, S, M, L} XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL. When only one number is given, it applied to all sizes. You may circle all numbers pertaining to your size before beginning.
  • Fits chest circumference: 20 (22, 24, 26, 28) {30, 32, 34, 38} 42, 46, 50, 54 inches with 1-3 inches positive ease.
  • This Lillian short sleeve pullover is a raglan style sweater knitted in the round from the top-down. The armhole bands is picked up and knit after. You may complete the armhole bands before you complete the main body so that you could use up all the yarn you have.
