Pattern Notes:

  • Difficulty Level: Intermediate
  • Sizing in pattern will be listed as 1/2 (3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10) {XS, S, M, L} XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL. When only one number is given, it applied to all sizes. You may circle all numbers pertaining to your size before beginning.
  • Fits chest circumference: 20 (22, 24, 26, 28) {30, 32, 34, 38} 42, 46, 50, 54 inches with 1-3 inches positive ease.
  • This tank is knitted bottom-up in rounds to underarm, then work back and front separately. The neck band and armhole bank is then picked up and knitted in rounds..

With RS facing, rejoin yarn at either side of shoulder seam. Pick and knit along the neckline (approx. 1 st for every row for the curve. /approx. 3 sts every 4 rows for the side).

Bind off. Make sure you are using strengty bind off method. (I’m using Jenys super stretchy bind off method)

Armhole Band: (make 2)

With RS facing, rejoin yarn at underarm. Pick and knit along the armhole (approx. 1 st for every row for the curve. /approx. 3 sts every 4 rows for the side). And 6 (6, 6, 8, 8) {8, 8, 8, 8} 10, 10, 12, 12 sts underarm.

Next row. K2tog, K to the other shoulder seam, K2tog, K.
Next row. P.
Rep last 2 rows 1 (1, 1, 1, 1) {2, 2, 2, 2} 2, 2, 2, 2 more times.
Bind off. Make sure you are using strengty bind off method.

Finishing

Weave in all ends.
Gently blocking to approx. finished measurements.
