Sleepsack:
Length to hood top when fold: 25 inWidth: 16 in
Baby beanie: fits most newborn baby with head circumference approx. 10-11 inches.
Mom beanie: fits most adult with head circumference approx. 21-22 inches.

Pattern Notes:

  • Difficulty Level: Beginner/Easy
  • I cut the yarn at harness straps opening to create even striping. Also for baby hat, I cut yarn to next color so that it could match with adult hat.
  • Hat is worked from the bottom up, starting with the brim.

Rep 3 – 70: rep row 2.
Bring both ends of brim together, sew together with sl st or whip stitch.

Now you will work around the top of the brim.
Rnd 1: ch 2 (count as 1st dc), dc in around the brim, work 1 dc in the end of each row, join to top of first ch 2 with sl st. 70 dc.

Start from brim

Rep 3 – 36: rep row 2.
Bring both ends of brim together, sew together with sl st or whip stitch.

Now you will work around the top of the brim.
Rnd 1: ch 2 (count as 1st dc), dc in around the brim, work 1 dc in the end of each row, join to top of first ch 2 with sl st. 36 dc.
Rnd 2: ch 2 (count as 1st dc), sk 2, fpdc 2, dc skipped 2, sk 2, dc 2, fpdc skipped 2, *dc 1, sk 2, fpdc 2, dc skipped 2, sk 2, dc 2, fpdc skipped 2, rep from * around, join to top of first ch 2 with sl st.

Finishing

Gently blocking to approx. finished measurements.
Sew on buttons (approx. 1 inch to the edge and 3.5 inches apart). I use the space between 2 double crochet stitch as my button hole, which makes the blanket adjustable.
