Lion Brand Heartland – Olympic (5 oz/142 g, 230 yds/251 m)
Amount Required (approx.): size Toddler: 141 yds; size Child: 228 yds; size Teen/Adult: 333 yds.
Tools and Notions:
Gauge: (in 4″ x 4″/10cm x 10cm)
28 sts x 27 rows in basket weave st. (US 9 knitting needle)
24 sts x 24 rows in 1 x 1 rib st. (US 8 knitting needle)
Cowl circumference approx.: 20 (24, 27.5) inches
Cowl height approx.: 6.5 (9, 11.25) inches
BM = beginning of round marker
C6B(6 sts back cable) = 6 sts right-leaning cable
C6F(6 sts front cable) = 6 sts left-leaning cable
k = knit
k2tog = knit 2 together
kfb = knit 1 in the front and back
p = purl
rnd = round
st(s) = stitch(es)
- Difficulty Level: Easy
- Sizing in pattern will be listed as toddler (child, teen/adult). When only one number is given, it applies to all sizes. You may circle all numbers pertaining to your size before beginning.
